I have produced detailed exegesis and interpretation of verses of the Holy Quran in their actual contexts as per their
revelations in my debate with Ali Sina. These are detailed versions of multilaterally acceptable interpretation of verses and not
punch line-to-jokes type of interpretation employed by “Dr” Ali Sina. Can someone see through the fallacy of that title? A
Doctor: someone having achieved Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree and the right to read and do all that appertains to a
particular field of study after presenting complete studies using reliable and universally acceptable sources and statistics and
interpreting them in a manner that is acceptable to all other peers and seniors at his level of study irrespective of their
specialized fields. Compare that to what Sina does using unilateral interpretation of single or part of verses selectively quoted
out of context to meet his intellectually sickening reasoning as to his alleged fallacies in Islam.
Sina has in several instances in his debates, mentioned, in no uncertain terms, that the above verses of the Holy Quran are
ridiculous and should be considered as a fabrication emanating from the mind of a “lunatic”. He has also asked for such a
cursing match to be held by all Muslims against him so that he may feel Allah SWT wrath immediately. He has been on several
occasions rebuked by various opposing scholars on his childish and foolhardy interpretation and subsequent comments on
verse of Holy Scriptures including the Quran, Bible and the Torah. His interpretation cannot be more further from the truth.
Sina, has been noted on many occasions, in his debates to pick Quran verses, or actually part of verses and use them to
breed contempt among Non-believers and Muslims, as regards to “his” special quoting, interpretation, representation and
understanding of the verses he selectively uses out of their actual contexts.
This is the actual interpretation of the verse and its detailed exegesis. I appeal to the objective in thought to compare this to
what Sina alleges, and as Sina puts it himself so boldly, decide as to what is most sensible:
QUR'AN: then say: "Come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and our selves and your selves:
The first person plural pronoun in "let us call" has a different import from the plural pronouns in "our sons" "our women" and
"our selves". The former refers to the both parties of the argument, that is, the advocates of Islam and those of Christianity;
while the latter refer to the side of Islam only. Accordingly, the meaning would be as follows: Let us both call the sons, the
women and the 'selves'; we should call our sons, our women and our 'selves', and you should call your sons, your women and
your 'selves'. The verse thus has shortened a long sentence in a meaningful and pleasant way.
al-Mubahalah and al-mula'anah both have the same meaning: to curse each other. The actual parties of the argument were
the Messenger of Allah on one side, and the Christians men on the other. But in the challenge for the imprecation, the call was
extended to the sons and women, as it would show more convincingly that the claimant is perfectly sure of the truth of his
claim, that he is absolutely right. Allah has put in man the love of his children and family, to such an extent that he puts himself
in jeopardy to save them, plunges into perilous situations to keep them safe. And precisely for this reason, sons have been
mentioned before women, because man loves his sons more than his women.
The detailed description of the invitees is a further proof that the caller (i.e., the Prophet) has absolute confidence in the truth
of his claim. The import of the call is as follows: Let my whole group and your whole group enter into earnest imprecation, so
that both groups pray earnestly to Allah and bring about the curse of Allah on the liars. In this way, the Divine curse and
chastisement shall cover the sons, women and selves of the liars, and the enemies of truth shall be annihilated completely,
they shall be rooted out without leaving any trace.
Consequently, the truth of this speech does not depend on numerousness of the sons, the women or the 'selves'. The main
brunt of the challenge is that one party - that which is on wrong - should perish together with all its near and dear ones - male
and female, old and young. The exegetes unanimously say - and traditions and history support them - that when the
Messenger of Allah (PBUH) came out for the imprecation with his immediate family; daughter, son-in-law and grand children.
How many of us today would bear to hear their near and dear ones cursed or abused. The Holy prophet was ready to put the
wrath of God on his kith kin if his claim; Islam, was untrue, at this challenge by the Christians of Najran.
QURAN: "then let us pray earnestly and bring about the curse of Allah on the liars":
"al-Ibtihal" is derived from al-bahlah also pronounced al-buhlah (curse). This is its basic meaning; then it was commonly used
for earnest prayer.
The words, "and bring about the curse of Allah", are a sort of explanation for the preceding verb, "then let us pray earnestly."
The verse said, “and bring about the curse of Allah"; it did not say, and ask from Allah to curse. It was an indication that that
prayer would surely be granted because at that juncture it was the only way to distinguish the truth from the falsehood.
The word, "the liars", does not refer to all the liars found anywhere in the world, nor does it mean the genes of
the liars. It refers to a particular group - that party of the argument (between the Prophet and the Christians)
which was wrong in its claim. The Prophet was saying that Allah is One, there is no god besides Him, and that "Isa was His
servant and messenger; while the Christians said that "Isa was God, and son of God, and that God had three persons.
This observation leads us to another reality. All those who came out for the proposed imprecation were equal partners in their
respective claim. Had the claim and the resulting imprecation been between the Prophet only and the Christians, one party (i.
e., the Prophet) would demand singular words, and the other, plural. In such cases, it is necessary to use an expression which
would cover singular and plural both. For example, the sentence under discussion could have been written like this: and bring
about the curse of Allah on whosoever is lying. But it says: ". . . on the liars." It proves that indeed there were liars (in plural) in
one party of the argument, either on the side of the Prophet or on the Christians' side. Consequently, all those who came out
for the imprecation would be partners in the claim - because lie presupposes a claim. Therefore, those who were present on
the side of the Prophet for the imprecation - i.e. his immediate family were partners in the claim of the Messenger of Allah
(PBUH.) and his Mission. It is one of the most excellent virtues which were given exclusively to these family-members of the
Prophet (peace be on them all!). Another exclusive excellence: Allah gave them the names of 'selves', women and sons of the
Prophet to the exclusion of all the men, women and children of the ummah.
And the order for calling to the imprecation could not be extended beyond that particular situation, that is, the imprecation
between the Prophet and the Christians. Therefore, when Allah uses a plural, there should be more than two in both parties
which were called; otherwise, the use of the plural "the liars" would be out of place.
Why this imprecation? Imprecation in Christianity.

Earnest Imprecation has been part of Christianity for centuries only to be a forgotten norm in the recent past. In an article on
a Christian website by Andrew Sadlin, link provided above, it’s quoted:
“….We must confess our sins of worldliness, laxity, and accommodation. We have been torpid in our self-centered ways while
the Enemy has in deadly earnest wrestled the yoke onto us. We need to wrestle the yoke right back off and place it onto the
enemy and his cohorts. To that end I offer a brief blueprint for The Resistance”.
The article goes on to quote the first part as “Adoration”.
Number 2 is detailed herein below:
“2. Supplication. 2 Chronicles 7:14 states, "If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and
seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
A cold-hearted, self-centered, devotionless Christianity deserves to bear the yoke of Satanic humanism and secularism. We
must ask God to show us the utter depravity and spiritual laxity of our own lives, and only subsequently the perversity of the
society about us. We should ask him to melt our cold, indifferent hearts. Little by little we are becoming spiritually impotent and
emasculated as we receive sensual favors from Satan in exchange for worldliness and torpidity. While we are at ease, Satan is
working feverishly (Rev. 12:12). We must constantly cry out to God for grace and strength.
Imprecation. A second aspect of supplication in which we must engage is imprecation, the invoking of divine
curses upon God's enemies. Note carefully Psalms . In our increasingly sentimental and syrupy Christianity,
imprecatory prayers have all but disappeared. Where are the earnest prayers for God to cast down the
secularists from their seats, to unseat unjust judges, and to destroy abortionists? The fact is, most of us are not
serious about our dilemma; thus, we sadly shake our heads, and click our tongues, and walk away. Face it. God
gets serious when his people get serious. This is not to say that the sovereign God of heaven is manipulated by
his creatures. It is quite true, however, that the testimony of Scripture bears out that as God's people repent and
begin to despise evil in their own lives and in their society, he is inclined to eliminate that evil.”
This is the important part. Christian evangelists today remind modern Christians of the importance of imprecation as part of
their resistance to evil. The holy prophet PBUH merely wanted to show the Christians of Najran, who at the time were very
staunch towards their on Christian practice of imprecation that both representatives of the 2 faiths at the time i.e. the Prophet
and Christian representatives would engage in earnest imprecation, as per the practice of the Christians and may the curse of
God befall the liars.
This was a historical event to show the message of the prophet was true and even on Christian turf the prophet was confident
of his claim as regards prophet Isa PBUH, being a prophet and notr the son of God. This is simple history, not a concoction of
Islamic faith but a mere application of Christian long forgotten philosophy to prove Islamic claims.
Sina has painted the picture that this was hatched by the prophet in “lunacy”. I feel Sina’s thought process on such an issue
and a historical event particular to the parties at the time of the event, is itself lunacy and quite immature.
Imprecation in the Bible:
PSALM LV
David, in great danger and distress from the implacable malice of his enemies, calls on God for mercy, 1-5; wishes he had the
wings of a dove, that he might flee away, and be at rest, 6-8; prays against his enemies, and describes their wickedness, 9-
11; speaks of a false friend, who had been the principal cause of all his distresses, 12-14; again prays against his enemies,
15; expresses his confidence in God, 16- 18; gives a farther description of the deceitful friend, 19- 21; encourages himself in
the Lord, and foretells the destruction of his foes, 22, 23.
NOTES ON PSALM LV
The verses of the Psalm LV in bold and italics are of great importance here. Verses 9-10, 15 and 22-23.

Verse 9. Destroy, O lord ] Swallow them up-confound them.
Divide their tongues ] Let his counsellors give opposite advice. Let them never agree, and let their devices be confounded.
And the prayer was heard. Hushai and Ahithophel gave opposite counsel. Absalom followed that of Hushai; and Ahithophel,
knowing that the steps advised by Hushai would bring Absalom's affairs to ruin, went and hanged himself. See 2 Samuel 15.,
16., and 17.
Violence and strife in the city. ] They have been concerting violent measures; and thus are full of contention.
Verse 10. Day and night they go about ] This and the following verse show the state of Jerusalem at this time. Indeed, they
exhibit a fair view of the state of any city in the beginning of an insurrection. The leaders are plotting continually; going about
to strengthen their party, and to sow new dissensions by misrepresentation, hypocrisy, calumny, and lies.
Verse 15. Let death seize upon them ] This is a prediction of the sudden destruction which should fall on the ringleaders in
this rebellion. And it was so. Ahithophel, seeing his counsel rejected, hanged himself. Absalom was defeated; and, fleeing
away, he was suspended by the hair in a tree, under which his mule had passed; and being found thus by Joab, he was
despatched with three darts; and the people who espoused his interests were almost all cut off. They fell by the sword, or
perished in the woods. See 2 Sam. xviii. 8.
Verse 22. Cast thy burden upon the Lord ] Whatever cares, afflictions, trials, &c., they may be with which thou art oppressed,
lay them upon him.
And he shall sustain thee ] He shall bear both thee and thy burden. What a glorious promise to a tempted and afflicted soul!
God will carry both thee and thy load. Then cast thyself and it upon him.
He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. ] While a man is righteous, trusts in and depends upon God, he will never
suffer him to be shaken. While he trusts in God, and works righteousness, he is as safe as if he were in heaven.
Verse 23. But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction ] The Chaldee is emphatic: "And thou, O Lord, by
thy WORD ( ûrmymb bemeymerach) shalt thrust them into the deep gehenna, the bottomless pit, whence they shall never
come out; the pit of destruction, where all is amazement, horror, anguish, dismay, ruin, endless loss, and endless suffering."
Bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days - So we find, if there be an appointed time to man upon earth,
beyond which he cannot pass; yet he may so live as to provoke the justice of God to cut him off before he arrives at that
period; yea, before he has reached half way to that limit. According to the decree of God, he might have lived the other half;
but he has not done it.
But I will trust in thee. ] Therefore I shall not be moved, and shall live out all the days of my appointed time.
This was a well known Christian practice of the olden days and it has subsequently been forgotten. The prophet PBUH was
merely informing the Christians if their claim was untrue, then they would be paid in their own coin. This is similar to what Sina
does on his site, the only difference being he (Sina) is god unto himself. Even modern evangelists are calling for its
resuscitation at the church level as per the link I have given you above.
Please, let us also see the fraudulent misinterpretations and misrepresentation “Dr” Ali Sina does to breed hate towards Islam
and the Quran. His types are out to breed hate and create an anti humanity cult that is based entirely on religious hate. He
breeds enmity against people through his dubious interpretation such as the ones I have given previously and the one above.

Surah Ale Imran Chapter 3, Holy Quran.

But whoever disputes with you in this after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: "Come let us call our sons
and your sons and our women and your women and our selves and your selves, then let us pray earnestly and bring
about the curse of Allah on the liars" (61). Most surely this is the true story, and there is no god hut Allah; and most
surely Allah is the Mighty, the Wise (62). But if they turn back then surely Allah knows the mischief makers (63).
